Egainer, ask for royalties.

FOR THE LAST TIME! The LF-S is not a particlular model Lexus. It was a design study of where Lexus sedan style was going. Look for similar cues in the next IS and LS. Remember, Lexus said new cars will look similar, instead of all Lexus looking different.

Similarities with 2004 Maxima ???

Comparison with BMW is absurd. Only thing common is high door line, so both BMW and new GS will need at least 18-19 inch wheels to give the car a better overall look.

New GS looks sleek, sexy and powerful. New "bangled" BMW looks fat and too heavy, like an old sad hippo.

Default Nothing like the Maxima

I saw a Maxima in a parking lot just this morning. I don't see much similarity. Honestly. Look at both vehicles in person side by side, you'll agree with me.

I for one was very unimpressed with the LF-S 'design study'. It just looks like a wind tunnel exercise to me.

i agree with bit about the LF-S... I wasn't that impressed.....

As far as making more of their cars look similar, I think that is a good idea... BMW, Audi, and Mercedes all have similar looking models.... Lexus has a completely different design per model....

1Sick, I asked about money, but they don't pay for pics, so I decided I would just let them have it anyway. I just thought it was cool that they wanted to use the pic, although I'm glad it said veilside on it, so that people don't actually think it is a GS-M, haha.

Thanks for the compliments

AND..... I think it looks more like a bmw than a maxima (the shape and the lines of the car, and tail lights)

those arent the headrests....

they are one more padding up, and are not as wide as those (those would block the view for the driver attempting to see out the rear window)

These guys at Autospies are such a joke! They always get their scoop wrong, but this is probably the best yet... using a CL member's photoshopped pic to announce a new model! You go, Egainer!

To be fair to autospies, only the headline was misleading. The content says they hope that Lexus takes this direction and they thank egainer for the intrepretation. Who would read it if it read, check out this photoshop interpretation!
