It's odd that there is no mention of the ES.

Yes and no mention either on the "new" SUV based on the HPX concept, that would be between the RX and the GX/LX

I have to admit that I haven't been following this thread since shortly after the first pictures were posted, but I have a one-page handout with pictures of the new GS and a few specs that was given out by Lexus at the New York car show a few weeks ago. If this handout was already posted, I don't want to do it again, but I also don't have the time to go back through 60+ pages of posts to see if it was posted. Does anyone know if the handout was already posted? If not, I'll put it up. Thanks!

I think I received the same handout at the NY auto show. I think most everything on that flyer has been seen or said so far in this forum, but I dont think the actual flyer was posted.

Seems that there is nothing going on here anymore, but my prediction about a 5.0-V8 seems to becoming closer and closer to reality, SC500/LS500 due for 2006/2007 calender year.

Wonder how long it will take for the GS to get the same engine, or would it be possible that Lexus will use the GS as a guinea pig and award us with a GS500 in the beginning of next year.

Any thoughts ?

I think he means (the way I see it anyway) low posters = new people = people who haven't seen this thread = new contributors = thread stays alive.

Well in my opinion from my experience on UBBs over the last few years, having this thread pretty much permanently stickied at the top keeps there from being 4-5 new threads per day with 'information' about the new GS (99.9% of which will have already been posted), and also keeps people who actually have new information discussing all in one place, rather than making people search all over the board for threads with snippets of new info.

I think it would, however, be a good idea to unsticky this thread and create a new stickied thread with all of the information thus far uncovered sumarized and officially deemed as 'fact' or 'possibility' or 'false'. This should definitely be done if any new info is uncovered so that it's easier for people to find rather than sifting through hundreds of pages to find where the new info/pics are.

I agree with summarizing the info, true, flase or inbetween.

I don;t see anybody new brosing 63 pages anytime soon.

Hope they summarize it in a new tread, hopefully more pertaining info will become available soon, since IMO a lot is going to happen in 2005/2006 for all models.

Maybe it would be good to have a general tread as well about all new models, since engines will be used across models, and since Lexus wants to have a new familiar face some design clues will be used in different models as well

BTW seen the June issue of Motor Trend with the "new" LS sketches ?

whoa guys, the term low-posters wasnt a negative thing, I just used it because usually threads get extended by new people who havent posted much, we get threads that are bumped up from 3 years ago sometimes, and most if not all the time, the person who brought it back up is new with low-post avg. so again no offense......back to the subject of this thread....which is the 2005 GS ..............

Default *more photochopped 2005 gs's*

On a happier note, and back to topic- These photoshopped 2005 gs pics appeared in the lexus owners club uk board. Some, yes have been here, but hey - now at least their all together now. I was too lazy to have to go through the ten thousand pages to check. You need not look too close for the funniest one.! And I wanted to say that before I just realized it is a palm tree behind CL members head, not was appeared to be his hairdue the first few times I looked at the pic! Oops Im exausted or somethin.
