Is the new GS coming out in any other market before the US?
While the new M35 from Infiniti is not out, the JDM Nissan Fuga launch last week has given people more info to digest until the real thing.

I guess then the next set of info will come out at the Detroit show in Jan. I don't know - it seems like the RL and the new M is getting a lot more press than the GS.

So true! The truth is that Acura and Infiniti can make all the fuss they want now, but when the smoke clears, the new GS will own March 2005. By then, we'll have exhausted the M35 and 45 to death, the RL will be old news, and the only car left to fawn over will be the GS.

Interesting how someone always says "i wish we had more info on this car", 2 days later we literally have more info on this car. I think we should start saying that more often. Look a few threads down and you will find spy pics.

Thats right I'm too lazy right now to link it or post pics.

Any idea why the '06 GS300 is not getting the 3.3 if it's now going to be a V6 instead of an i-6?

My guess is Lexus is going to release a hybrid version using this new direct injection V6 3.0L engine. This is only a guess (don't quote me on it). I don't think a 3.3L V6 will be release anytime soon as it is design for FWD and AWD (Camry, ES330, Highlander and RX330). There is talk about a V6 3.5L for the Avalon (could make it to the GS). Don't know. Only Lexus knows.

Lexus did not want to fit its FWD engine with its RWD cars. Nor is it luxurious to share that engine.

If I can just add this pic. I think it's the best picture so far of the back of new GS.
