Question Depreciation

I really want to get the GS430 as soon as possible. But with the horsepower war that is going on, 300hp just doesn't seem to be much anymore. I read from another thread that possibly in a year the GS will come out with a 4.6 liter engine, obviously having more horsepower. Ok so my question, how much do you think the GS430 will depreciate in a year? My idea is to buy the car now and when the bigger engine comes out, just trade in and pay the difference.

Default GS460h

The proposed GS460h? Hybrid will have a 3.5 liter 310 HP gas engine mated with an electric motor/generator giving it the equivalent performance of a 4.6 V8. Eventually Lexus will have a Hybrid in every model. Everyone needs to adjust their thinking because Electric motors have instant on max torque for 7-8 seconds then the batteries need to recharge. Someday we will all be talking battery mods!
