Default 2nd Gen Aftermarket Wheels on 3rd Gen GS?

Guys in my office where pondering this question if the aftermarket upsized wheels that most of us here have for the 2nd Gen GS will they work on the new model GS. Probably kind of hard to answer since no one has taken delivery of a GS yet but maybe someone who has been to an Autoshow or preview event has asked the question.

Just curious?

My friend that was with us at the Glendale preview of the 06 GS were discussing the fact that the wheelwell opening for the rear is smaller than the Gen 2 GS. It will be an actual tighter fit to put larger diameter wheels in there. 20" would be tops.

well i don't think anything more than 20s would fit good anyway

in terms of offset, it's really really hard to tell. it seems like the new gs has different brakes so that could be a start. i think the offset will be close to the 2nd gen though

Yeah I agree, anything larger than a 20" on a GS is overkill.

Wel it has stock 18s, plus 3=21 inches. Considering the car is probably higher, wider and it is a tad longer, it may not look bad with a dip dish (so the spokes look like 20s).
