Default Boston preview night, my impressions...

Met my wife at the dealership after work for the sneak preview party, and valets took our cars (she has a BMW), gave us a ticket, and took our cars to be washed and vacuumed! Nice start. Went inside and there was a 3 piece playing classical, while appetizers were handed out. There was wine and finger foods also. They had 3 GSs there, a white 430, a black 300 AWD, and a dark silver 300 RWD. As others have said, you gotta see it in person to really appreciate it. What I loved: the dash layout and info screen are beautiful, and the interior is impeccable. There are soft white LEDs to light the wheelwells and underneath the front seats for rear passengers. When sitting in the back, directly above you towards the rear in the center are 2 reading lights, again in soft white LEDs, very classy. The glove box is big now that the CDs load in the dash, and the armrest is cool the way it opens, like a jewelry box, up and back! The taillights are awesome with the LEDs, and look cool when you brake. The front headlights are nice, giving a nice crisp white hue. Also, the headlight washers (all 3 had them, standard?) are built into the chrome surrounding the headlight and you'd never notice them if you didn't look for them. Also, dash brightness is now +/-, no more ****, and on high its incredible! Standard sound sytem is great, Levinson 7.1 is a must, considering the addl. 200+ watts and clarity! Oh yeah, and the vanity mirrors now have light coming from above instead of on actual visor. Now, here is what I wish it had...bi-level Xenon, on the GS it makes high beams look yellowish; fogs are same off-white color in both 300/430, no yellow anymore; would've liked to see illuminated sills like in SC and RX, nothing here; change bin still small and useless, although there is a small coin slot in front of armrest. Prices were $58700 for loaded 430, $48000 for nicely equipped(no NAV) 300 AWD and $47000 for RWD, with like features.
