For me, it's about the AWD. I wonder why Lexus doesn't offer AWD for their flagship models.

Agreed. Like I told a Lexus sales guy. If Lexus made a V8 AWD I'd buy it
now! I guess they made the cost analysis and must've figured it wasn't
worth the investment. It's funny I was talking to a BMW owner and he said
the same thing about Bimmers.

AWD is not 100% answer... since i saw infiniti m35 awd, trying to get out from the snow, all 4 wheels are spining but car isn't moving ...

It does depend on what tires you have, but with the same set of wheels
and tires AWD is far superior to RWD in the snow. I traded in my old
GS430 grudgingly, but when it snows the peace of mind I get is definitely
worth it. Maybe the M35x guy went into too much unplowed snow...

Oh I realized I never did this roll call thing...

1. GS 300
2. AWD
3. Flint Mica
4. OEM 18'' graphites
5. Spoiler
6. Ash

Hello List,

I have an 06 GS 430 with gold emblems. Dont see them to often and I dont know if I like them yet. I might have to ante-up and purchase chrome ones.

Excellent Forum though.

1. 2006 GS300
2. Mercury Metallic
3. Chrome 17s
4. Spoiler
5. Black
6. Navigation System/Mark Levinson Audio System Package; Moonroof; Rain-sensing wipers and Adaptive Front Lighting System; Intuitive Parking Assist; Ventilated front seats; Rear spoiler; Preferred Accessory Package

Did it for the ride, the tire life, and the fuel.

Came out of an Infiniti with 265hp, and the 245hp in the 300 was plenty for me.

Thanks.

I bought my wife an 05 ES330 last year, and while the engine seems a little anemic she loves the buttery soft ride. I was so impressed with the quality of the ride, the fit and finish of the interior I was hooked.

I spend a few days test driving the BMW 550i, 530i, Infinit M45, MB E320, 350 and decided that not a single one of them even came close to the Lexus..

I love this car!
