Hello,
This is my first post and wanted to chime in. I have had a long history with Acura, BMW, MB, MINI, Porsche and Audi. Going to a Lexus is a first for me. I've had it for one week and so far it has been as reliable as my first car (a 1974 MGB GT). Wow, I hope I can get some talent out of you guys to help me solve some mechanical issues!
1.) GS 350 (with a VERY dodgy transmission, especially when cold, or, when going from Drive to E-Shift---the RPM's jump 2k or so)
2.) AWD
3.) Obsidian Black
4.) Stock 17" 7-Spoke Black Chrome Rims
5.) Stock (lip) spoiler
6.) Parchment
7.) What to mention? It's an awesome car but I'm very nervous about the transmission. So much that I am probably going to bring it back to the Acura dealer I bought it from and see what can be done. I really like this car but I'm at a point in my life (house, new kid, wife, car, working all the time) that I really don't have time for this, literally. I don't mean to sound like a jerk but at 66K miles I expected a little more...refinement? Heck, my parents 1992 Lexus ES300 has never had major problems!
8.) Just stock dealer photos as of yet. If I end up keeping the car I'll pull out the Nikon D7100 and get creative

Car is completely stock, aside from reverse, city, trunk and mirror lights being replaced by LEDs.
Totally happy with the car minus a hit and run recently. (Someone was nice enough to bang up my pass. Side quarter panel and bumper). **** happens, so blehh.
I purchased some weds (19x10.5/11.5) to help ease the pain till the spring arrives and I fix her up lol.

Good question! I can't believe I forgot that. It is a 2010. As for the factory warranty I'm not too sure yet. I will find out tomorrow from the Lexus dealer but I think the power train warranty goes to 50k (I hope I'm wrong).
I do have the Zurich warranty. I'm usually not a fan at all of aftermarket warranties (and if this doesn't work I very well may cancel it) but maybe they will cover it. I'll keep this updated. Thanks for the question!

Nice pic! Did you take that? Are you VIN Photography? I'm into photography myself and have been trying to get some trick shots of my BMW in HDR. I've got a Nikon D7100 with three metal mount lenses covering from 18mm-300mm (18-55, 70-300, 35mm prime, and a fisheye)

I got the car a few months ago at an action and just finished fixing it a couple of weeks ago. It is in stock condition minus a tint. I want to put a sub in the back but that will have to wait a couple of weeks. The main parts that I replaced were:

and a couple little things on the suspension.
After paying for taxes and all of the ridiculously hard to find parts, it cost me a little bit over 19k.

Need Help Info on 2009 GS350
....Had recent dealer work. Looked under hood and see AC hose bracket on front right fender well.
The AC hose is right below bracket but not attached. Dealer says its OK. Anyone with similar model please look at your car and tell me if AC hose is attached to fender bracket. Thanks JimB

QUESTION: I know there are tons of audio discussions, but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
I want to add more bass to the ML system (which sounds awesome but is a bit light on bass for me), but I don't want to eat up any more trunk space than the battery already does. Has anyone tried adding subs under the seats or anywhere else inside the cabin? Links to discussions about this appreciated.

Hey guys, new member to Club Lexus but far from new to Lexus. I've worked for Lexus for 12 years and have owned several Lexus vehicles. My Current car is a 2007 GS 350 that is Glacier frost with ash gray interior, I have the stock spoiler on my car. My current wheels are about to change but this is how the car sits right now. I have 20in Vossen VF-051 wheels, F sport lowering springs, F sport shocks, F sport intake and F sport sway bars. I'm from Denver,CO but have been in Phoenix,AZ now for almost 3 years.

I bought this to have something comfortable for a daily driver. I've never owned a car like this really... have always had Jeeps and sports cars. In the last couple years I've had a Honda s2000, 2010 WRX, and a Corvette z06. I still have a Jeep Wrangler and a 1929 Model A rat rod.

I was a year overdue on a new car, after contemplating a few options, I am now the happy owner of a 2010 GS350AWD in Toronto, everything is stock and the car drives fantastic, likes gas a bit more than I am used to, but heh I knew what I am getting myself into.
Despite all reviews, I find the ride very nice for what I need... I commute about 100km per day mostly highway, I can see where some may find grief with it being less than sporty in handling, but I will take a comfortable, compliant ride with confident highway passing power anyday in exchange for being able to take the local neighborhood roundabout at 80km/hr (its a 40 zone anyway)
