I've been a member on here for a few years but not very active. I've just traded in my '98 GS300 for an '05 GS300 GRS190. Absolutely loving the 3rd Gen, have a few plans for it but nothing major as its a family car and wife will be driving it also.
1 - Jan/2005 GRS190 GS300 Sport Luxury
2 - RWD
3 - Platinum Silver
4 - Factory 17"s currently (will be looking to upgrade down the track)
5 - No spoiler but I'm on the hunt for OEM bootlip and possibly a roof spoiler.
6 - Grey with Black woodgrain (hard to find the black woodgrain in AUS)
7 - Fully optioned - Mark Levison Audio, Sunroof, Heated/Cooled seats, In dash Nav etc - Only has 123k on it with full logbook service history from Lexus since new. One owner from new.
8 - See below
9 - Adelaide, South Australia
The first time I looked at it.
Love the rear end compared to the '98
Clean and tidy, would have loved Black on Black but near impossible to find!
The cockpit.
My old '98 that I traded in on the new car. Owned for 4yrs and modified it from Stock.
Gonna miss her.
Was super clean for 17yrs old. Had 233k on her at trade in.
Swap day! Dropped off the old, picked up the new!

Hi everyone.
My name is alex. Im new to Lexus, but not new to forums and a far cry form a n00b.
been on stanceworks for years. among other big forums like greenhulk.net benzworld etc etc etc.
over all really wanted one for a few years now, and finally got my wife a GS350 but personally cant keep my hands off it and use the excuse "i want my wife to have a sweet car"
got a 2008 GS 350 RWD from auction as Runs and drives, turned out the motor was blown and was far from a running and driving car. So instead of buying a motor, i ended up buying an entire parts car with the motor and got really acquainted with the vehicles internals and suspension.
not looking to go overboard with the aesthetics of the car, prob a decent drop, vossen wheels, and lighting.

Hi all, just picked up my first Lexus 3GS! Im a longtime Honda guy and looking forward to driving this beauty. Traded in my 12' Si coupe with 50k KM's for the 07' 3GS with 130K KM's, its a downgrade in age and mileage, but an upgrade in EVERYTHING else!
heres the details
2007 GS350
AWD
Smokey Granite Mica (Gray)
17s (badly chipped, they are officially my winter wheels)
Spoiler
Black Interior
Im the second owner and the car is in pretty solid shape for being almost 9 years old. Also fairly certain he got every option available at the time, other than the V8!
Coming to you from Canada

Also a long time Honda/Acura guy. My TL got rear ended and was a total loss. This would be my first Lexus and also my first RWD car
1. 2007 GS350 w/ park assist and ML, 90k miles
2. RWD
3. Dark Grey Metallic (don't know the official name)
4. 18" Stock
5. trunk lip spoiler
6. Grey
7. DIY 90k service, DIY water pump, iSimple connect kit (Seemed to offer more features than VAIS like USB storage playback, Aux input, and bluetooth and is also cheaper. Had previous experience with iSimple in my TL, kinda glitchy sometimes but it works for the most part).

A little slow on finding this tread. Recently aquired this one owner 08 GS350 with 51k miles. Drive it mainly on weekends and road trips to grandkids house. Have already found great tips and fixes to some issues the car had. Not my first Lexus but it has been a while since owning one. I am a long time Toyota Motor Company owner. My first was a 88 Cressida, pre Lexus flagship for the company. Owned it for 25 years before it died and went two the crusher. Have also owned a 94 LS 400 and a SC300 plus several Toyota trucks, currently a 03 Tundra. Looking forward to many miles in this GS. Thanks to all the posters for the great posts, keep it up.

Hey alls...
Finally talked the wife into letting me get her a nicer car. She has been driving her first car since she was 17.. a '99 neon. She bought it with 16k on the clock.. Now has 125k on it. Still good transportation but it was starting to use oil and needing work every other week (keep in mind neon = throw away car).
With that being said... we started looking around. Found an IS250 we really liked but the dealer wouldnt come off the price and the car needed a good bit of work. A buddy of mine called and told me I needed to go look at this GS300 he found online so I figured why not...
Car is a 2006 GS300 AWD... Had been maintained fairly well with 120k miles. New tires, brakes, and general maintenance had all just been done. After some wheeling and dealing, we traded the neon and walked away with the car for 9,600 (10,500 after taxes, etc..)
Drove the car home averaging 26mpg according to the display... and the wife is in love.. lol
The car isn't perfect... has a few things I have to fix. I need to pull the rearview mirror and send it off to be rebuilt as the glass is faded/streaked. Also has a minor exhaust leak which I'm going to take care of in the next week or so. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.
Strongly considering adding factory navigation as its the only option the car doesn't have from what I'm seeing... I'm curious how much of a pain it would be...
Anyways..
