Lexus security system and "Push to Start"
Does anyone have any info on the effectiveness of the Security Systems? Does it significantly reduce full car thefts and would the lack of a key also make it less likely to be stolen?
Of course no system is going to stop or deter a brick through the window to see what can be stolen.

You can't start this baby without the key fob inside the car. They better bring a towtruck. You can't hot wire it. We really don't experience much theft except those owners that believe it is convenient to leave a key in the glove box. You can't even do that with this system as you won't be able to lock it if you leave a key inside the car. It's almost idiot proof.
