Default anyone else experienced this?

My Blackberry 7100g with Cingular works well when it works. Only prob is that periodically I get a "Bluetooth Connection Failed" notification, followed by a "Bluetooth Connection Successful" a few moments later. Seems like it happens only when the phone is placed in the center console. Could there be a "dead spot" for BT reception inside the car?

I've had the same exact experience w/ my Bluetooth connection......weird.

Another thing that frustrates me is the phone book. I guess I can only transfer 1 name at a time into the phonebook w/ my V3 RAZR.

That really shouldn't be a compatible pairing. Assuming you could connect what would the two devices (the car & the laptop) exchange?

These are the profiles I know of:
Headset - Used with the GS
Networking
Data Transfer
Activesync (for devices with the Microsoft operating system)

Other than Headset, I don't believe the GS is compatible with these profiles.

Hi--supposedly you can pair a Palm Tungsten with the car and transfer the phone book all at once, so I was hoping that I could do the same with my laptop. Basically, I am trying to use my laptop to upload the entire phonebook at once.

I found some V710 groups on the Net who said I should flash the firmware to the latest version (which I did) and the ring problem should be fixed....Uhhh not soooo....Also the "one" button dial feature does not work properly. You can enter a number from the received or dialed calls list and assign it to a number, but once you power the phone off, disconnect bluetooth, etc. the labels for the one touch dial go blank until you go back through the setup menu and exit. I was at the Cingular store today and you cannot get the ATT phones 6310i that Lexus recommends since ATT will not add new customers and cingular will not use ATT equipment. Since I saw the RAZR mentioned as working I thought I might try one and see if that will make me happy. I am open to Nextel or Cingular/ATT but Sprint and T Mobile do no have great coverage in my area.

Any other phone suggestions out there?
How about a Blackberry? My 7100g works great.
