I think he mean " he is upside down on the trade in" Let's say his 02 GS300 worth $$$ number, but he owned the bank a few $$$ more than the trade in value. The dealership just let him has the 06 GS at MSRP and forget about the negative trade in. That's my best guess.

Plus, the new GS has such a high residual. He may comes out o.k in term of interest rate and so on.

 

i mentioned this in the car chat. lexus has stopped production on the 2gs a while ago and most lots don't have 2gs since jan or so, or maybe just 1 or 2 left. so i say majority of the sales are from the 3gs?

 

The avalon number.. 5,317...is that for all of the avalons sold worlwide in march 2005 or U.S-sold only? im assuming they are referring to 2004 and 2005 avalons, correct?

 

These are Toyota Motor Sales USA numbers only. And this applies for 2005 models.
