The GS430's price is just right. Look at the E500, you can option it out to being close to 70k. That's hitting LS range. The 545 loaded is near 65k. Lexus has made a lot of money in the past by selling its cars a lot cheaper, and now that they have gotten their image, they can sell it close to the competitions price (and make more money). I expect the next LS to be starting in the mid 60s in pricing. I like Lexus cars, and they are good at what they aim for. However, I want to see how many sales Lexus can keep up once their pricing reaches that of MB and BMW.

I think the new gs is a great car in terms of looks and available equipment. I stated that “imho I think lexus went completely goofy on this” The word “this” was referring to price. Is all the new techno stuff good? Perhaps. Is the price premium lexus is charging for all of that equipment worth it? Personally, I think not. For those members who feel 63K on a GS with all options along with the same 300hp engine is worth the money, that’s fine go and buy one. The only thing that will be CRUSHED is your pocketbook
