06 GS300 stock wheels / tires?
OK... picked up me 06 this week and finally spent some time with it today. I noticed that I do not have run-flat tires (no evidence that they are - and i didn't pay for them) and I do have a spare.
The tires are Dunlop SP Sport 2050 225.50.17 and there were several warnings on the car (tags) that the tire life is expected to be less than 20,000 miles. They seem to ride firm for an "average" profile tire.
I also noticed that my wheels are not what I have seen on the Lexus site or posted here. I have attached a picture of the 10 spoke wheels it came with. Any ide why these may be different? There was nothing noted on wheel options/changes on the sticker.
I'm looking for wheels now. I would have just settled for these chromed, but the dealer said they have no exchanges available yet... and it may be a few months. I guess I get to pick something better

Those are the stock 17"
This car has had 20" but then it needs lowering to fix the gap. The 18" wheels are standard on the GS430 and work well. I drove a GS300 with 18" Bridgestone Potenzas and they really stuck like glue. One of my customers is removing the 18" Dunlop runflats we get in the East and putting Michelins or Yokohamas. I will post a verdict once he changes over. No matter which wheel/tire combinations you choose they will all look better with Melissa standing next to them....

icic, that makes sense now. But still 1-pc wheel + tire 18" $1200-$1500 is the max I (personally) will pay in consideration that the 1pc wheel each costs about $60-$80 from manufacture (or even less unless they are forged). In addition, why pay extra $1000+ on 18" when you can finish in 1 step by ordering 19" I never understand this, that's why I started doing aftermarket wheel upgrade .
