1. Remove the three terminals from the connectors.
2. Buy a repair terminal/wire (82998-12750) from dealer ($13) for the yellow wire
3. Snap the repair terminal/wire into the connector and place a lug on the other and hook it to ground.
4. Tape back the original yellow wire to the harness.
5. Connect the other two female wire terminals together using a small male terminal or wire, a small amount of solder on them, or some other secure connection.
6. Place electrical tape around the two connected terminals to protect them.
With this method or something like it, no wires are cut and you can return the car back to stock condition in a few minutes by just snapping the pins back into the connectors.

Part number for K46 connector? H1 Connector?

Shoot me an email If you live within the San Diego, California area and want to enable your DVD system and not void your warranty by cutting wires. My buddy and myself both have kits made up to do it without clipping anything. rickatencio@yahoo.com

Just read the instructions that ScaryH22 posted, it word perfectly. Very easy as well. There also is a link somewhere in this thread that will show you how to disassemble the nav unit. I would perform this for you if you were in Florida....LOL
