Does anyone know if this hardwire workaround for the Nav will work on the Generation V Nav found in the IS or the new ES?

Does anyone know where I can take my new GS in for DVD override? I'm in the SF Bay Area. I appreciate all the input and diagrams but knowing, I'll screw it up. Thanks in advance!

Not on other areas of the car. I have had warranty work done on my car after the hack. Unless there is a problem with you Nav Unit itself most warranty work would be performed outside of the dash, so it's not a big thing to sweat.

In 8 years of ownership of my 99 GS, the dash was never pulled once. In fact, I never had one problem with my 99 GS300 - It was flawless - that is why I still buy Lexus

Awesome work on this ScareyH22A. I pulled the JBL(Denso)e7006 out of my 07 Sequoia Ltd with NaV and rear DVD to put in a TOYPD2 for my IPOD. The wiring looks different than in your awesome thread. Does anyone know what differences are involved in doing this DVD mod for the vehicle to activate the front DVD and playlists while driving for the passenger in this vehicle? I have already done the 5.1/6.1 NAV DVD mod and am able to input adress while in motion.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.
Or... if someone knows who can do this for me in Denver.
Pete

so is there a hack for the 2008+ models to be able to input addresses while driving? I don't have ML, so not really worried about movie watching. I would love to be able to input addresses or phone numbers for bluetooth dialing while driving...or let my passenger do it for me while I continue driving.

Thanks
