Question Sooo... Does Anyone Have or Plan To Have The New GS?

What up my people! Now obviously the new GS is indeed out and on the road (I've seen @ 4 in the Dallas/Plano area) but I have yet to see anyone here trade and/or purchase/lease one and post up...
Or have I just missed it? If I haven't, does anyone here plan on getting one soon...? Just curious.

There is a 3rd generation GS forum right under the 1st generation GS forum Quite a few new GSs in there.

I would like to get one but want to wait a few years until the new engine options come out

Default Think I'll wait 'till net year.

I'm planning to wait until the new V8 is out. I'll bet it has variable valve timing on both cams and
also will have direct injection..

I never thought I will even consider the new GS until I saw it personally. I test drove the GS430 & GS300AWD & I like the GS430 more than I thought I would. NO I won't consider it until the GS460 comes out, & my eyes are still on the next redesigned LS, but if that's a real disappointment in terms of exterior design I may consider the new GS for my next Lexus.

A 4-Door Sports Sedan is definitely in my 2005 future.... We're working on a "lil one" and that means no Sports Car (at least no transporting him or her in it) And if I have to give up my Sports Car, it MUST be replaced by a Sedan that has the "characteristics": Power, Handling, Curbside Appeal, etc, of a M45 - GS - E500 (although the re-designed 2006 7 Series is Hott!)
You know, I have to be honest guys... The very first time I saw the new GS was from the rear coming up, and I mistook it for a Maxima! I've yet to see the M in person, although it is available.
I've been really busy lately, but I promised myself I will do the same as I did when I bought my GS400 back in 99... I will drive ALL competition prior to a purchase decision.

Dude, the sticky Our forum is pretty thick with new owners, especially compared to the new competition's respective forums.

The car has been on sale since November, so it should have more owners.. But it seems there is you and 2 others that actually post there and cry about our posts here like some teenagers. You don't see us crying about what all 3 of you say over there.

I've read the posts over there.
