The M45 is faster than a GS 430, cool, no arguement there and clearly, looking at sales, big deal.
It looks as if he joined CLublexus in September of 2003.. that's a year and a half ago.. that's not exactly new... now me, i am new

I remember TL owners liked to quote the best times for the TL and the worst times for the G35, and say that the TL is faster. Which, of course, is nonsensical as well.

The GS350 and GS460 are coming next year, so Clublexus people should only have to "suffer" the outrageous "indignity" of having a slower car only for a year and a half.

We'll have to see what Infiniti has up their sleeve when that time comes.
Not at all, but every group will favor what they want. It's obvious you're in a Lexus biased forum, as you should expect the same kind of feeling in FA regarding anything Nissan/Infiniti and etc. Let it go already. Our forum communities don't represent but 1% of the buying market to begin with. You're right about it doesn't really matter. So why even take an average? Everyone will have their preference in choice in any decision or facts they wanna use. So what if the M45 is .2 or .8 seconds faster? We already know the M45 is faster than the GS430. What's the point of reiterating the idea? It's a never ending battle.

Don't stereotype people here on Club Lexus for suffering. To be honest, it's the outsiders who suffer, because you guys are the one that spends way too much time analyzing and nitpicking a model you don't probably own or have no intention of buying in the first place. That's why you guys wait hours on end for someone to post, then you can lash out with your opinion. And where did that get you? More response from the community which isn't in your favor to begin with. Sharing info and actually adding content to the community is great. But if you only come here with the same age old excuses of your favorite make and model, you're not going to get anywhere. Just get over it.

Guys you are going to make me have to write a long diatribe and sticky it on the expected politeness, courtesy and helpfulness that this forum should have. Jrock's posts have been absolutely fine in this thread are not over the top (I haven't looked at others) and don't deserve the type of response he got.

Liquidblue, I've warned you via PM about your inappropriate attitude on our forum. While your post above was not offensive, I specifically asked you in that PM not to troll 1sicklex around picking at every word. This is absolutely continuing that negative behavior. Strike two.
