Default seat memory

is there a way to use the seat memory while car is moving or while the car isn't moving or while the car is off? right now, the car has to be on and parked for the seat memory to work. this doesn't make any sense b/c my gf uses the car moves the seat all the way forward, i have to squeeze in, start the car, then change my memory setting.

also, isn't there a way to have the memory change w/ respect to the key fob?

Memory seat function is inoperable while you're driving for safety reasons. The memory seats don't operate before you enter the car? They should be functional.

well i think it should be operable while the car is at a stop. the car has to be in parked. i can't just open the door and push number one, the car has to be started.

Hmm the memory seating works in our RX330 before you enter. You may want to check and see if that's a C-Best setting that could be changed.

I was just looking at that last night. There is a procedure in the manual for tying your key fob to a memory location. If I remember correctly you have to press and hold the desired memory button, then press and hold either the lock or unlock button on the key fob until you hear a beep. After that, I believe it should automatically kick in the memory position every time you approach the car (with the exception of the steering column which doesn't adjust until you hit the start button.
