Default Navigation (bypass available?)

Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass the "Caution" screen when the navigation system is turned on? The "I Agree' button has to be touched every time the system is turned on.

100 years ago we did no need a safety manual to “operate” a horse. But we also did not have trial lawyers!

yes there is a device to eliminate the i agree and also lets you input new destination while driving but due to trial lawyers i guess i wont be able to tell you where to buy one. it plugs into the computer wiring harness and has a protocal changing chip in it. it coastels 75.00. (that wasnt a typo)

I think the "I Agree" thing isn't too bad, I reflexively press it when the car starts.

Also, to my mind it is a legitimate liability issue that NAVI users understand that Lexus not be held liable for any accidents which may occur when one is distracted by the NAVI system (attempts to press buttons, or override system functionality fly in the face of safety concerns!). So I wouldn't place all the blame on trial lawyers for this issue, being as cell phone talking is linked to increased accidents and quite possibly careless NAVI use could do the same.

Do you mean you can not say if it will work or don't know if it will work?

That I don't know. Maybe the connectors are not compatible with the ones in the GS.

The " I Agree " doesn't borther me at all. I mean, its only take a second to reach my finger and touch the screen " I Agree ". Or you can go to the menu and turn the screen off if you don't use the nav.

We're spend more time to touch the screen to change the radio station, climate, POI and more. What is a big deal about touch the screen that say " I Agree"?

Hey, you can give me $75.00 and we'll call its " Agree "...

This kit is supposed to do more than surpressing the "Agree" message. It claims to allow
the passenger to change/set the destination while moving. Now give back my $75.

The Coastal unit is for the Prius only. If you send an email to support@coastaletech they will put you on the list to get info on the GS version when its available (2-3 Months).
