tire pressure sensor

Some aftermarket rims can work with the tire pressure sensors, but many will not. The sensors are usually located on the valve stems & for many aftermarket rims, their valve stems cannot accomodate the sensors. Another way is to band the sensors around the circumference of the rims with straps. Some custom wheels manufacturers do provide the straps with instructions to install.

Is there a way to just bypass the sensor? I am looking at rims now and I highly doubt they have accommodations for the sensor, but without run flats I really don't care. How could we tell if they have sensor accommodations? the rims i am looking at are Zenetti Mystic , anyone know about these?

They don't come with tire pressure sensor. Most of the aftermarket wheels don't come with this feature

So are we going to ride with a low tire warning all the time, or will it just shut itself down when I out the new rims on. I have never had this feature before so I don't know too mmuch about it.

You can disable the tire pressure sensor light for the SC430, so I suppose you should be able to do it with the new GS too, there's a post with instructions in THIS FAQ THREAD in the SC430 forum The procedure maybe slightly different since it's a different car, but should give you a good idea I guess . . .
