The 3M automotive fims have more of an orange peel appearance and is not as easy to apply as Venture. Aeroshield also carries 3M Aerospace grade film (since they started on aircraft first) which is way more expensive.

Wow that it pretty impressive... The company that is closest to me is Xpel.. They use a 3m protective layer thats guranteed for 5 years... They claim no yellowing of the film and fading.... I'm considering this in about a month or so... Its down in Boca Raton FL.. They said it would take 4 hrs. to do the Hood,fenders,bumper, and mirrors..... any other options besides xpel.. If not I'm going to use them....Thanks tony

A lot of us have had xpel on our cars for several years now. It always looked pretty good until about a year ago, when Sam showed us Venture, and his Premier Mobile level of workmanship. The work is excellent. Bubbles, creases or any small blemishes are not a concern with Premiers workmanship standards.
Bottom line is, Venture is a notch above Xpel (3M). The difference in material quality is easy to tell by anyone.
Yes, you pay, but NO , you won't be dissapointed.
