Wheel wells (what are they made of?)

Anyone notice the rear wheel wells on the GS300? They feel like they're made out of a card board material, same stuff as the trunk lining. The front are thin plastic, doesn't seem very durable to me.

If you're talking about the lining inside the wheel arches, I believe they're made of a recycled material. Lexus loves the planet, don't you know.
