Thats not a rim maker. Its stands for Japan Light Alloy association. Thats there symbol that approves the wheels for use on the roads in Japan. Like a DOT approved symbol but for Japan. Its on all wheels that are used in Japan. Im getting a new set of JWLs in 22" for my gs

GS430 wheels paint damage
My new GS 430 alloy stock wheels came back from the dealer with several of the wheels having paint chipped down to the base metal. The dealer says it was his car washer and will fix. Is there an issue with these new wheels or do I have a defective wheel? These new wheels appear to be aluminum with a muti coat of silver paint applied, and chipping occurs easily
