Does anyone know if 245/35/20 series tires will mount "flush" with the front fenders on the 3rd Gen GS430? Or should I go with 255/35/20 (rims are 20x9)? What do you guys think? Im planning to go 275/30/20 in the rears on 20x10 wheels.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Alan

yeah, 255 is way too wide for 9. 245 is a better choice

With a 9" he could go either way.. But the safest way would be the 245/35
Now hopefully FutureGS will bring my 2nd back to me this weekend so I can swap the 18's for the Rezax's.. I want to see if the 18's will clear a real BBK and also I want to make sure that the specs on the Rezax are okay for my new baby.. I'd hate to wait almost 2 months for my new wheels and then find out that they don't fit..

i must say my favorite wheels are the brushed HRE for sure...For some reason that pic caught my eye the most...Not too far behind is the Gettins - They looked really good too but maybe in chrome like Bluelex...all those wheels look good - makes me wanna go buy the 3rd Gen

Default HRE 542R (Silver) or Lowenhart LD5 Chrome?!?!?

Im in a bit of a dilemma. Trying to make up my mind TODAY on which wheels to buy for my 06 GS430.

I've always been a fan of HRE wheels, but not sure if the silver finish would complement well with the Flint Mica. I would have preferred high-polish, but that is not an option at this point. As for the LD5, I like the design but again the chrome finish is questionable. Not sure if its too "bling-bling" for this car. I normally prefer the agressive yet simple look.

Given these two options, which wheels would you take?? Price-wise, I'm paying a difference of $2,000 if I choose to go with HRE.

Whadduya guys think??

Of those 2 choices, I would go with the LD5's. I think the chrome would bring out the chrome trim on the car. That could be good or bad depending on your point of view.

It all depends on what kind of look you're going for.. If I were you I'd do the HRE's because I love to be flashy but at the same time I have to keep it classy.. With the Chrome LD-5's you're gonna be a baller more than anything else.. Both are great looking but HRE's are the way to go.. Either way your GS is gonna come out of this looking great..

Neo, yeah I saw it.. I thought about it and I decided to wait a few more weeks till the coilovers drop.. I'm telling you the floodgates are about to open soon and what's the sense in buying these springs installing them and then ordering coilovers a couple weeks after that?? Trust me, I though long and hard about this.. But thanks for the heads up..

Yeah it has been a while! Not a whole lot going on, just wishing for a tire sponsorship to fall in my lap. Need some tires for the 19s (tire prices are crazy which we all know of course) like you wouldn't believe, but other then that everything is great! Looking forward to going to some car shows this summer, went to HIN a few weeks ago so I'm amped!

Can't wait to see what you come up with for the new GS! I know it will be gorgeous!
