tried it, didn't work. Maybe the hidden menu only works on US versions not the European ones. 2 bad because it's a pain in the neck here too not being able to enter destinations while driving

Hit MENU button on the right side of screen you should come to this window.
Click on Volume. Once in the Volume MENU, click on top left where the picture of the speaker is
Then Click on bottom left (I know there's nothing there but click on it
Then Click on top left again, the picture of the speaker
Then Click on the bottom left again
It should bring you the SERVICE MENU
Once here, click on OVERRIDE but keep holding it til you here a beep. Once you hear a beep, the OVERRIDE should be highlighted like below.
You MUST do this everytime you start your car. I have confirmed that this works on 2005 LS430 as well. Have not tried any other cars.

ok E55, you didn't just happen across this. You must have inside information. Does your inside information have any insights into the other buttons on this screen? The TEL Voice button seems intriguing to me, but I have no interest in pressing it without knowing what I'm getting into.

I can ask...all I EVER wanted in a Lexus was the ability to change destination while driving. The rest I really didn't care much for. Oh, I wanted more power too.

I'm not sure how you came accross this information E55_POWER, but this screen was one of the diagnostic screens that are only supposed to be used by engineering and development side.
Now that the cat's out of the bag, though, I have to warn you guys that some of these functions can seriously mess up your nav. system (especially Loading, Error Log and Tel Voice) if you press the wrong buttons.
