Default Price for loaded GS300 AWD

I know there are numerous pricing threads on this already but I couldn't find one that was applicable. I got the following pricing from Edmunds.com for my zip code (11374). I was a little shocked to see that the price of a loaded GS300 was over $55K. Is this correct?

2006 Lexus GS 300 4dr Sedan AWD (3.0L 6cyl 6A)
MSRP Invoice
National Base Price $44,850 $38,122

Optional Equipment $9,515 $7,707
MV Mark Levinson w/Navigation System $4,030 $3,319
PC Pre-Collision System w/Adaptive Cruise Control $2,850 $2,280
SR Power Tilt & Slide Moonroof w/Sunshade $1,000 $800
RS Rain-Sensing Wipers $525 $420
WO Intuitive Park Assist $500 $400
SS Power Rear Sunshade $210 $168
VS Ventilated Front Seats $200 $160
RF Rear Spoiler $200 $160

Destination Charge $650 $650

Total with Options $55,015 $46,479

Sorry the forum deletes white space so the spacing is all screwed up. I'm attaching a text document with the pricing.

Wow, that's pretty expensive. Most of the GS 430s I saw at dealerships here in So Cal. sticker for about $58.3k. That's for every option you listed except the PCS / ACC. Although I assume you could easily get a 4-5k discount (I got 4k off sticker on my GS 430).

Default Awd ...

A shame the GS 430 doesn't come with AWD. I want to trade my 04 GX 470, but need AWD for the brutal midwest ice & snow.

I have seen a couple of the Infiniti M35 AWD, and man, that's a good lookin ride for $5m-$7m less.

I think the smart way may be to wait a year and let some of the fluff come out of the new AWD sedans being offered (BMW 525 xi, Infiniti M 35 and the Lexus GS 300).

I have a deposit for a GS430 Fint Mica with black interior..loaded List Price - $58,500

Every option except PCS with ACC.

I said 1000 over invoice. They said it was way too low of an offer. I said.. "ok" see ya later, you have about 4 on your lot - if you dont want to do it, fine...and i got up..Then as i was about to walk out of the managers office, he stopped me and said wait - lets meet half way. He showed me invoice at $51,000...i said 52,000...then he met me half way.

They are doing $52,500 + ttl for me.

Wow, that's a great price. Hope everything works out on the purchase.

Flint Mica is a sweet color. It was my other top choice, but my dealer didn't have a Filnt Mica / Black combo when I was looking to purchase.

thats pretty expensive. You should be able to get a better price than that. I've heard from my friends that there are some okay discounts on GS's in my area.

I always wondered why certain options weren't available in certain markets. When I got my first GS300 back in 1999, I wanted it with navigation and I remember reading or being told that they're easy to get on the west coast but it would have to be special ordered for the east coast.

Now it sounds like the same thing with these 2 options. Obviously I'd want the Pre Collision System for safety reasons and anybody who lives or drives in NYC would want the Intuitive Park Assist.

That must be for a GS430. If it was a GS300 AWD, they'd be overcharging and they'd never get it.

The PCS option is available but not on the 300, only 430.

If you want parking assist, you will have to go to South Florida since they have them on the 300AWD. They just aren't available up here.
