I had mine in the dealer last week to be checked out for this issue -- I fairly consistently get 13-15MPG in the city which is easily 90% of my driving currently (they said nothing was wrong with the car and that if it still is getting poor milage after 5K to bring it back). I did manage to fill up last weekend in Irvine (CA) and drove the I-5 to 91W to 405N to the Torrance area and got (at that time) ~29.4 which was the best -- of course that was only a single run without using a single tank of gas.. I've yet to take it for a really long drive..

I've hit over 35 with the cruise set at 56mph on a daily 70 mile round trip.But that's what the computer shows when I reset it at 56 I can get slightly more without the cruise and with extra extra light right footed driving

I have gotten over 30 in my 09 GS 460 on a trip from Houston to Ark. Mostly highway, but goes through many small towns (U S 59) . Stayed between 65to 70 and used cruise control when possible. Also got 28.5 running about 85 on the return trip.

We hit just over 31MPG in a 06 AWD - central Nevada 7k foot elevation, at a steady 80 MPH, long straight roads. Same trip with our 2010 GS 350 AWD we saw just over 28 MPG, but we were hitting a bit of a headwind, and I'll admit to tripple digits on a few stretches.

i averaged 30 mpg from SF to LA on my 06 gs300. RWD

On average I get about 28-32mpg but I did once on a run through Belgium and Germany get 41mpg, although I do believe our fuel grade here is different not sure what and impact that has also mine is RWD, we dont do AWD here unless you own the LS. The drive was mainly motorway doing 70-75mph.

best i've done is 34mpg...i'll have to do some digging to find the picture proof...and that was not hitting the brake at all

Best I've gotten was 8.5 L/100km on the freeway and 80 zone inner roads. Was riding around 90-110km/h -/+ . During the summer on a road trip on regular gas!
