What do you guys think of these rims on an 06 GS430? I like the larger spokes for the 3GS since it's such a beefy car.
The only problem for me is that I don't want to get too "over the top" and I absolutely don't want to compromise the ride quality; these rims (Sequence sq2) don't come smaller than 20's.
So, has anyone seen any Wheels similar to these in 18 inchers. I know you die harders say go at least 19, but not for me.
Thanks for your input.

I think you have the right idea with the type of wheel you want to put on the GS, something with a larger spoke design. However, in my opnion these wheels look really cheap. If you want something similar to the Sequence SQ2, you should go for the Lowenhart LDR or LVR series. If this is too pricey, then look in the Symbolic line.

BJ, Thanks for the suggestions on Lowenhart and Symbolic. Based on your post in this thread and another, it sounds like you've put some thought into what would be a nice wheel for the 3GS.
Do you have any other suggestions other than the thick spoke design. I would like to narrow my selection down to 2 or 3 options and see if I can get a member to photoshop them for me before making a final decision.
Thx B.

Here are the Lowenharts and the Sequence's. Although they are not on a GS, one can get a better feel of what this wheel actually looks like on a car. I think that they are really sharp and am convincing myself that these are the style I'm going for.
If there's a photoshop guru on the 3GS forum, maybe you can photoshop these on a black GS.

The Sequence SQ 2 wheel looks similar to the Lowenhart due to the large spoke design, especially when looking at the picture. But if you were to look at these wheels side by side, in person, there is no comparison. It's all in the details, from the chrome plating or type of finish used on the wheels, to design, materials and fitment parameters. Style and quality are two seperate issues, because I may not like a particular wheel on a certain car, but I can appreciate a owner who decided to purchase a well made wheel for his automobile. In my opinion, here is what would be nice wheels for the new GS Series if you are looking for larger spoked wheels.
Lowenhart

Makavelli Wheels, very nice wheel for the money, 3 Piece Forged Wheels and can be had with up to a 5 inch lip for most applications. Also the sizes of most of the wheels start at "18"

These wheels on the GS don't work for me; not open enough.
When looking at wheels you need to find out how much they weigh; there are
some out there that are real boat-anchors. Heavy wheels mean increased unsprung
weigh and adversely affect ride quality and handling.
