Default Gas Milege -06-GS430

I was able to do 433 miles (FWY) full tank from CA--AZ,, as for local & FWY milege, i have to fill the full tank around 320miles..

Wow, thats some impressive mileage. I think I've been averaging around 18 MPG and fill up around 240 miles. But I'm guilty of a lead foot.

Haven't done a long distance drive yet.

i drove from oregon to sacramento the other week and averaged 19 mpg. (i also am a lead foot)

We just did an 1100 mile trip and averaged 24.6mpg running 60-75mph for most of it over passes and some twisty bits up the Oregon coast. I'm so impressed with it considering the 4.3 liter V8.

We went up to Wisconsin a few months ago and managed 28 mpg, no BS

Wow, that even more impressive. How the heck you manage that 28 mpg? My is 20 mpg, but 50/50 city and hwy and some lead foot...

haha no doubt. i get into some traffic north of red bluff and wonder why everyone is driving so slowly, i look down at the speedometer and it reads 122...whoops.

Why driving the speed limit, of course!

Nah, it was at 80 mph off a refuel off the highway... top gear puts it into low rpm's at that speed, and it averaged 28 mpg until we got off the highway (over an hour).

122??? No kidding, it's so easy to speed in the GS without even noticing it.

I average 26-27 on every tank when I am on the road. Got on 27.9 tank on the stock Yokohamas. My Bridgestone Turanza Run Flats cost me about 1/2 MPG over the stock Yokohama 18" but the ride quality and noise reduction more that justifies the 1/2 MPG IMO.
