Default transfer calls between phone and car while on the phone

I just realized that you can transfer calls to the car while you are on the phone. If you are in the car, once the bluetooth is detected, select menu on your phone and select transfer.

If you turn off your car, a screen should pop up on your phone asking if you want to retreive call.

yeah, i think it depends on the model. my nokia does it automatically if i get into the car while on the phone, but there is a massive delay and usually the caller is really confused b/c he/she can't hear anything for a couple of seconds while the thing is transferring

i think your way is better, so you have more control. is there a delay? what phone do you have?

Yeah it comes up on my (Motorola) phone and says "Bond with BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE?", then hit "yes", enter the pin and I'm set. Once I turn off the car, my phone says "Bluetooth signal weak, use handset?" and you hit yes.

When you get back in the car, just go through the menu (should be available on all bluetooth phones as I've done this with an Ericsson and a Nokia) and "Turn Bluetooth On", and the car should pick it up without prompt, since it's in both the phone and the car's connection history.
