Im new to CL here, and have been going through heaps of pages in this thread yesterday and today and have a question/observation to ask?
Why do people fit 20" wheels and 275/285 wide rubber when it interferes with fenders and sticks out even with the outer edge of the fender, not allowing proper suspension travel and possibly fowling of the fenders?
Would it not be better to run a 19" wheels, slightly less diameter tyre, less offset to tuck them in more inside the fenders so you "can" lower it more and have the tyres/wheel tuck the little bit inside the fender themselves?
And why run excesively wide rims where you need to stretch the tyres sidewall out to fit them? seems pointless.
Id say theres only a handful on GS3's that have been lowered this way, the majority seems to roll fenders, minimal suspension drop and excessively wide tyres/wheels........
?

Got my side chrome and the chrome around my headlights wrapped in the 3M scotchprint Gloss Black vinyl.
