what's PDI? and why wouldn't the 06 GS wouldn't start?

I don't know how the interior quality is of the Infiniti M45. But, my aunt has a G35 and the interior in that thing is wearing down a lot. The driver seat has a bunch of scuff marks from her getting in and out of the car. Not like its because of her weight, cuz she's only 110lbs. She rarely uses it since she prefers driving her other car, a 92' LS400, on a daily basis. BTW the LS seats have less scuff marks than the G35 and looks a lot better. Qualitly control... =P

The interior quality of my M45 is great. My FX35 is also holding up well after 8,000 miles and my QX4 held up great for 3 years before I traded it on the FX. No scuffs, no leather cracks... nothing. My Infinitis have held up as well as the '03 RX300 we decided to give to my mother a couple of months ago.

Here we go again. Let's hope this doesn't get shut down.

You're lucky. My co-workers's 3 month old 530i already had the whole power steering replaced due to some quirk. Luckily it was a warranty issue. Dunno how you can say that the 530i is dependable.

Good to hear. No doubt that Infiniti has done a great job recently with the G35 coupe, the FX, and now the M.

Speaking of leather, my '99 GS had a drivers side leather problem (cracking after 25k), and the dealer had to replace the seat cover. Am hoping my new GS won't have this same problem.

I bet if jarrett did a little homework, he'd realize his GS300 has more potential to run circles around his 530. And, wonder why BMW pays for maintenance...to get people to buy lemons.

Go with Lexus...it's the intelligent choice.

Guys don't start the 'pre-flaming' please. dseag2's statement was purely factual based on his own experiences and not negative.

My co-worker was seriously looking at the 06 GS and 06 M at the time but now she's regretting her purchase and wished she went with either the new GS or a new M instead.

It's only 3 months old...and it was brand new if you do the math it was May 05. It's been a service department nightmare for her...but that's a whole other story we can discuss in Car Chat.

Run circles how? You obviously have not driven an 530 based on this comment.

I don't think people buy BMWs for the reliability, that would be pretty stupid, but rather buy them for the driving excitement it gives to the driver.

Key word is "potential"....mods man. Stock 530 vs. GS300 w/mods....my choice will be the GS300 as the winner of most fun car to drive. You already won the luxury contest.
