Default New G-Spider Wheels - Courtesy of Lexus corporate

Per my previous posts, I've had a problem with bulges on three of my original tires and two stock wheels that were bent. At first the dealer said the damage was caused by potholes or road hazards. They paid for one tire and wheel and made me pay for the other tire. But after the third tire and second wheel were damaged, I wasn't really buying the "you must have hit a pothole" story since I was very careful after replacing the first two tires.

At the request of my dealer I called corporate to complain. They agreed that this was a bit strange and said they would replace all four wheels with a rim of my choice. I wanted them to replace the wheels and tires with a different brand, but they said they wouldn't pay for the tires.

I chose the G-Spider wheels. They look 100-times better than the stock wheels. Let's just hope they are stronger and won't bend during normal driving. I guess only time will tell.

Let's not get carried away, 100X better than stock???

Just kidding, the Spiders are indeed nice. Glad Lexus took care of you...but I wouldn't expect anything less. Share some pics when you have a chance.

nice car and wheels. I don't get it though, how did the wheels get bent? Were your stock wheels bent when you received the car?
