Default Touchup paint for GS430 wheels?

I've got a stone hit I'd like to touch up. Is there a specific paint or color known for the GS 430 standard rims? Thanks for any pointers.

I should post a pic of the wheels on my wife's ES to show you why wifey doesn't drive GS It has more surface with rash than without, and that's with tall 60 series 15s.

I'd be curious if there's touchup for the wheels too. you'd think there would be......

I noticed a chip on one of my rims after Lexus did the 5k service and wheel rotation. Of course they new nothing about it, I was so pissed I did not even asked them if they make a touch-up paint. I hate taking my car to people who can not afford a nice car so they dont know how to take care of anything nice.

This is why i find the side mirror folding down so helpful.. so you could see the curb. I actually wish the right side would fold lower and the left drivers' side not fold at all.

Hey Chuck...
Maybe you should invest in a pair of these for the wife's car:

I curbed by right rear wheel today. It was so dark I didn't even see it coming. Does anyone know how much it would be to get it repaired?

I used some silver paint I had in the garage, cant see where the chip was now. Guess I got lucky with a perfect match.

So I checked with a Lexus dealer today to see about at least obtaining the paint code for the wheeles. He told me there is no paint code because the wheels are not actually painted, but epoxy coated.

I'm coming to the same solution as GS430X6--finding some silver paint. I've tried a couple--will advise if any of them seem ideal.

I feel your pain. At my 5k service, my dealership managed to scratch every one of my wheels near the lug nuts from rotating the tires. It's only noticable when the wheels are spotless and you're up close, but it pisses me off!

Default Wheel Repair

I know that there are a few "Wheels America" stores that fixes up rims like BRAND NEW! There's one here in San Antonio... I never used them, but my friend did. His girlfriend dinged up his KMC wheels really bad. Anyway, they said they have a flat rate for ALL repairs, which is $139.00, plus or minues ten bucks for each wheel, and that includes polishing up the rim. It looks as good as brand new.

It's a chain store... not too many locations, but if you're close to one, I would definatley recommend it. They're website is:

http://www.fixrim.com/

They even have before and after pictures to show you what they can do... really amazing. I hope this helps. Take it easy.
