What is this?
I have this piece of fabric between the center console arm rest and the driver's seat. It looks like a horizontal pouch thats filled with air. Passenger side does not have one. Does anyone know what this is for?

someone asked this question a while back. i think the consensus is that it's for preventing coins, etc. from falling down there . . . nice idea actually, i have definitely dropped stuff in that little area and had to go to the back seat and fish it out from underneath.

maybe they should have added fabric to the passenger side also. My wife dropped an earring and now it's gone forever. the spaces between the arm rest and the seat is so tight, that you can't fish anything out of there.

that's a good idea. I always worry about a penny or dime falling into the tracks and messing something up. I have pulled a mangled coin out of a seat mechanism before.
