I'm thinking about getting the AIC-100i Auxiliary Input Adapter to create a direct connection from the iPod to the car. Just wondering if anyone's gone this route, and if so, I'd love to hear your feedback on it. It's $369 so it's quite a chunk of change, and before I part with that, I want to be sure that it's worth it.

There is a new product by harmon kardon that allows for ipod implementation in vehicles and actually looks pretty nice too. Its called the harmon kardon Drive + Play. It was awarded macworld best of 2005. I definitely want to hear more about this product also. Here's the link...

I really dont remember but I think I saw this available for prerder somewhere for about 199 or 299. It might have been circuit city.com...not sure though

ok found the HK Drive/Play system at crutchfield.com for 199 preorder expected ship date is 10/10/2005. I am going to wait until spring 2006 to see more users reviews (i couldnt find any being that it hasnt been released yet) to decide if I want it. Hopefullt Ill be able to find some 06 GS owners posting reviews on it.

If this works "as designed" in the GS with no major nuissances or issues then I think at 199 its a great deal.

This cassette adapter sucks cuz it keeps popping out the deck and making whirring noises and fm transmitters where im at.
