Black Pearl Emblems on Blk/Blk 3GS 430
I just got Black Pearl Emblems for my Blk/Blk 2006 GS 430. Originally I was told that the dealer could no longer get Black Pearl Emblem kits as of the 2005 model year but the parts guy told me that he still could so I had him order me a set. They came in and they look sweet. I paid $300 plus $100 installation (didn't feel like doing it myself). Came out good, but the installer at the dealership put the "GS 430" script on poorly (uneven). They are ordering me a new "GS 430" script. But all in all looks really good. I like the way the Black Pearl Emblems have a more toned down look, especially on the front grille (and yes, even on a Black vehicle).

you got them for $300?? i asked my lexus dealer how much they would be and they quoted me $895!! could you let me know which dealership you went to and perhaps the phone number if you have it.
also, you guys think the black pearl emblems would look good on a blue onyx pearl color??
ROMINL - i believe they take the old badging off and replace them with the black pearl ones, the black pearl emblems dont just simply cover the old ones.

i'm pissed that Lexus is still using pins to hold the "Lexus" emblem on the trunk i wanted to debadge the rear of the car of the "lexus" and the "gs300" and found there to be pins that hold it. So if i take off the Lexus there'll be holes left over

pinns hold the emblem on alot better and help kep it there when someone goes to pry it off. althoguh them pin wont do too much help if someone really wants it. Only reason I could see them going to a pinned version from glue is possible trouble with the glue where the tempature of the car metal starts to breakdown the glue and emblems where falling off.
