Gs 430 Lease Question
Due to the high profit margins on lexus cars do you think I can negotiate a 3 year lease with 2000 dollars total down 15k per year on a GS 430 with Nav/Lev package along with standard add ons bringing the total to 58,390 for around 699 per month. I am thinking they should discount the car to about 52,500. They would still be making 2000 dollars over invoice

I wish I could do that but I am the type of person who has to have a new car every three years. I get bored after that long. There is always something better out that I want so leasing works good for me.

I am big on leasing too, so I understand! I have a car broker working for me who has been able to turn amazing deals for some co-workers of mine. I got a number of $2500 down, $750/month with 15K miles from him. I called one of my local Lexus dealers and spoke to the fleet guy (he is a friend of a friend) and was told that the broker number was something he could not touch. This was for a loaded 430 w/ an MSRP of about $58K.

If you run the numbers with the correct sales tax for your state, I think you are a liitle optimistic on the $699 price. I assume you mean tax included. The key is the money factor rate and residual. Get them as low as possible. With Florida tax I come up some where in the $800 range with the calculator.

i just ran your numbers, and with using a resid of 54% and .00207 money factor (4.97% int rate), the payment is $758+tax. tax where i live brings it to $818/mo. if you can get a better money factor or higher residual, that helps a lot:
each 1% increase in residual results in about ~$15 less per month
each .0001 reduction in money factor results in about ~$10 less per month
each 1% increase in residual results in about ~$15 less per month
each .0001 reduction in money factor results in about ~$10 less per month

I think that you made a mistake: The money factor should be low and the residual should be high. Not both low.

Correct, my mistake.
Thanks

oh, i just used the #'s from my lease as an example. this was back in march 05, so they are likely different now.
i leased thru US Bank instead of LFS b/c LFS rates were not competitive when the GS was launched.

How do you shop for lease rates? I have always gotten the financing from the dealer. I'm getting $821with tax for non navi GS300 39 month, 15k, and $821 out the door. 1063 same deal for an SC430. Is this good?

Those numbers are way too high, at least i think so. You should be able to take home a GS430 lease for about $800.00 a month with around 2k down..........2006 loaded !!!

GS 430 lease right now
I've currently been offered the following deal last week on a loaded GS430 from one of the largest volume dealers in the US.
Here's the deal.... 12,000 miles a year, 730 FICO score, 36 months, $ 2500.00 drive off with a payment of $ 765.00 a month, which includes taxes and lic.
I think it's great deal. I know this deal will only be available during the December to Remember promo which ends on Dec. 31 st.
Any thoughts guys?
