What we need is a video demo of the oil change. If it's not complicated, any jiffy clone will be fine.

lexus charges up the *** to maintain their fancy facilities and pay for the coffee and pastries

Theres really a bunch off differences here.. Theres a bunch of pros and cons..

Pros about bringing your 3GS to a Toyota dealership or a cheaper place that does oil changes:
1. Cheaper
2. Faster

Cons on not bringing your 3GS to a Lexus dealership:
1. Wont get a carwash
2. Wont get a loaner car
3. They wont check other things in your car, they just do a straight out oil and filter change.
4. They cant spot things that are wrong with your Lexus easily because 3GS' barely go to their place and get serviced.
5. If you will sell your 3GS later on, the history report wont look as nice because some services will be blank because it was done else where and MAYBE poorly.
6. Might experience poor service else where.

This is just to list a few.. You guys be the judge!

Regular oil and filter change only, no tire rotation and those other good stuff right?.. I think he was talking about a full service..

RIP OFF!!!

At Sewell, they charge $50 with blend oil. Also they let me bring in my Mobil 1 and they only charge $30 for the labor and filter.
