Free* ringtones for your MP3 compatible Verizon phone (Moto 815)!
Not sure what forum this belongs in, but I thought I'd share that I recently found out how to send ringtones to my Moto 815 from my PC for the price of a text message ($.10?).
1- sign up at vzwpix.com
2- set up Gmail account
3- configure Windows to show file extension (.wav, .mp3, etc.) on your files
4- go to http://vzw.ztango.com/vzwtones and pick out ringtone
5- click purple headphone to open clip in Windows Media player
6- as clip is playing, save file
7- change extension from .mp3 to .mid
8- send an e-mail to your phone's 10 digit number (xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com) from Gmail account, attach the .mid file ringtone to the e-mail
9- when you receive the message, as you play the audio clip, pause it and use options menu to store, then save as ringtone
