20" CHROME WORK REZAX - STOLEN!!!
My friend's brother had 20" chrome rezax on his GS, just like mine. I guess his wheels just got stolen last week in front of his house. I don't have a lot of the details. Anyhow, if anyone offers to sell you some, feel free to let me know. Good think my car is always in the gargage....

That really sucks man. that's absolutely horrible news, not to mention that I'm getting me 20s in about a month. One thing though... why didn't he have a lug lock on his wheels? I had Stern wheels on my ES300 back in '03, and they even came with a special key that you had to use to rotate the lugs. Anyway, again, that sucks that this happened.

I had wheel locks ripped of my 98 maxima and they took my sock 16s with new toyos right off. I got wheel locks on my GS now too, but that will not help much if they want the wheels they will get them.
, it just shows that garages are a blessing

that sucks. did they leave it laying on blocks or what? I'd also be worried about damage under the car. they probably just slap the jack and blocks anywhere under car.....

haven't spoken to him directly yet.... yeah, wheel locks don't do anything nowadays. Most people I know get the rays lugs, where one of the lugs is 7 sided.... I think the problem there is if you have the rays key, it is universal to all rays lugs....

Here is a tip that won't stop theft of wheels but will almost garuntee your wheels back eventually.
When getting tires mounted onto rims. You have to let the mechanic know to write notes in all four wheels with your picture, personal information where you can be reached at and a letter saying if anybody but you is present when replacing the tires, please notify the authorities or do not return the wheels to the guy until the person with the real info is reached. This way everybody has to change their tires, especially the larger in diameter they are, the less they last (typically speaking) you will probably get your rims back within a year if this sort of thing happened and the mechanic is smart enough to realize what the note is saying.
