Hi fellow GSers
If you want a smart key glove call Lexus customer satisfaction and tell them when you valet park your car the attendent has no way of hanging the fob. Be nice and polite and they will send you 2 of them. Good luck.

Can you tell me exactly what number to call because I tried the 1-800 number from the Lexus website and I was automatically re-directed to my dealers roadside customer service who off course had no clue what I was talking about.

DARN.... TRIED TO DO THE SAME THING BUT THE REP KEPT INSISTING THAT THE GS KEY IS LARGER THEN THE IS KEY THERE FOR THE IS POUCH WILL NOT FIT MY KEY. HE ALSO SAID THAT LEXUS IS MAKING A SPECIFIC KEY POUCH FOR THE GS

it is snug but as you can see it fits fine on my 2006 GS 300 key fob

here is a picture if the IS 350 key fob that i got from the IS forum .sure looks like the same size to me. maybe someone else here on club lexus might know if the GS and the IS fobs are the same size.

Here is a pic of the GS keeys on the GS manual. Assuming that the manuals are the same size this should be a good comparison.

just call custermer satifaction 800 # and press "0"... and tell the lady or whover that you have a 2006 gs430 and you are having trouble whne you give the key to the valet and they will tell you that they have created a sleeve for it.. they will ask you for your address and VIN # and name and they will send a coupl eout to you... called them today and they told me they were sending it out today

I just got off the phone with the woman and was being very polite, but she said I'd need to contact my local dealer to purchase it. She didn't ask for my VIN# but did want my address. What did I do wrong?

tell them that the new IS owners are getting the glove for free and you paid a lot of money for your car and you would like them to send 2 key gloves. if they won't do it i suggest you ask for a supervisor.

My sales rep (Karen Knutson / Lexus of Portland) just sent them to me even after I offered to buy them. As most things, it depends on who you talk to and whether they want to be helpful.

Lexus will be sending them out, around the first of the year, to the owners of the new GS vehicles that were sold before the key glove was designed and put in the vehicles when they come through the port. If you really need the key gloves you can call Lexus Customer Satisfaction, but they have a limited supply currently as most are being dedicated to the vehicles coming in for sale. Don't worry though Lexus is planning on sending them out to the GS owners once they get enough to take care of all the GS vehicles that were sold without them.
