My previous cars were Audi's and i knew the techs and service writers...when i would get my oil done, i would buy my mobil 1 and they would use that instead of the dino oil. Now i guess i'm just being a bit overly concerned over it, but how would i know that the oil i buy the tech would put that oil in and not use dino and keep the mobil 1 for himself? It's more of an ethics question than anything i guess. Just building up that relationship.
Am i being overly sensitive to this? Or should i just get the oil and hope that they put in my car?

Well, most likely you will be fine. The Lexus tech would get in trouble and probably be fired if they did that. Hopefully, Lexus dealers screen out most of those types of people. You can still get scammed, but probably less likely at a Lexus dealer than most other places.
Personally, I always change the oil myself. I actually like doing it, and I know it's done right. Plus, it's really easy and you can't beat the price! If you are really concerned: Do it yourself.
