Default FYI: New Nextel i870 bluetooth works great w/ GS430

For anyone that is with nextel and has been painfully waiting for a decent bluetooth flip phone like me, then you will be happy to know that not only is the phone great, but it works perfectly, (for me at least), with the new gs430.

Peace.

Not really, sprint and nextel have joined but nextel is still different from sprint when it comes to phones only the plans are the same. Nextel isn't even useing the sprint towers for service since its different technology still. Idan vs. cdma not capatible. But I do agree the new i870 rocks

Default Help w/i870 and bluetooth.

Okay, I just received my Nextel i870 and tried to connect to my car but so far I'm getting a "connection failed" message. I've followed the manual intructions very carefully but still no luck. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? TIA.

you have to goto your telephone mode on the nav then i think you touch add phone then it will send the signal and from your phone you have to goto bluetooth then hit find me then you will have to enter a pin after that if you leave the bluetooth option on your phone on you will be recognized everytime you get in the car
