Does this adaptor also charge the ipod while it's plugged in?

Yes, while the car is on.

I think the adaptor is very much worth the money. I hate having to burn new DVDs/CDs everytime I get some music I want in the car! $320 is a small price to pay for the time I save.

I received the Vaistech iPod integrator. The installation was reasonably easy although removing everything was a little scary. It works great as reported above. I ran the connector into the center armrest compartment. Since you can only operate the iPod through the head unit or steering wheel controls, I decided that is was best for me to hide the iPod.

Do you have any pics on the installation itself? I'd like to install mine this weekend, but haven't had any luck getting some reliable instructions.

Many thanks.

All you need to do is remove the head unit and then follow the instructions from VAIS. It's really simple.
