I am contemplating to buy a GS300 to replace my 2004 BMW 545i (way too many problems).
Could you give me some advice on the car? What do you like/dislike?
What options work? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the 300 is great. But in my honest opinion, I'd get the GS430 if it's within your range. I mean if you can afford a new 545i, a 430 should be no problem. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The interior is amazing in my opinion. You gotta go sit in one and test drive the 430, and you'll know exactly what I mean. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. And if you were wondering, I have an '06 GS430.

We've had a 2006 GS300 for about a week and overall it's an incredible car. Get the Mark Levinson stereo -- it is entirely worth it -- the sound is completely 3-dimensional and clear as a bell. The main console reinterprets the I-drive concept one step towards usability -- you don't use a mouse but a more direct touchscreen that is less cumbersome. The controls are clear and make for a very uncluttered dashboard, which, for me, brings dashboard design to the next level. I believe the Lexus dashboard is the nicest on the market and laden with thoughtful touches.
A lot of critics have complained about the drop down tray with some lesser-used functions, but I don't have a problem with that. The seats could be a bit more comfortable, but the handling is steady and the ride is velvet-smooth!
I'm not an aggressive driver, so the 300 is just fine for me, but if you want to match the power of your prior car, then, as others have said, the 430 is the way to go. Either way, you'll be pleased.

GS430...
My favorite features are :
1) NAV (don't get lost anymore)
2) Not having to take the key out of my pocket. That helps in the winter.
3) Interior is classy. Best in class in my opinion...
