Default King here

Thanks guys I truely appreciate the compliments. I had a 2000 GS300 but after driving my wifes 2006 GX470 for a day I said boy you need to step up. The 2006 GS430 is the most amazing car I have ever been in and driven. Those rims are Lowenhart LDR 20x10 rear 20x9 front

I was told with the technicalities of the suspension on the 430 it's not ok to lower it. I'm all for the look but the only available springs at 300$ or whatever just don't sound like it is going to compensate this magnificent suspension the 430 has. Am I wrong? Not sure?

I hear your fears and I feel for you, I have been really throwing idea around as well. I don't want to mess a thing up on this car but I want it too look right too.
I have also run into reluctance of our NW dealers wanting to drop the 430's. I got the run around and a few miss quotes getting the feeling that they were almost insulted that I would even ask such a thing as to lower my 430. At first I was quoted $250 to lower it but only with springs that they got from TRD which as we know now will not be available. Then after some research on their side the quote jumped quickly up to $850. Lexus needs to lighten up a bit and get more aggressive with being able to take care of their customers with the modding of their cars, at least here in the NW.
How do the 20"s feel? That itself should have made a different feel to your cars ride. Cool that you went with Lowenharts, nice wheel.
Don’t worry I am looking for something different so you wont have to worry about any mirror images driving by~

The 20's ride like 20's not perfect but not bad either. I did the staggered look so the back looks chunky!! Real good! It rides fine go with the 20's. I am not convinced to throw 300$ springs and or to cut the stock ones on a almost 60K car. I think it should be left for now untill some super duper suspension comes out.

I was very reluctant to mess with my suspension too. I did alot of research and determined Tein CS(comfort spec) coilovers were right for me. I have been very happy with them. they are as comfy as stock but without the float and they are obviously height adjustable.

If I were you, I'd probably wait for Tein CS or similar coil overs to come out for the 06
