Guessing HP on GS460 and GS350
#31
The 380 HP is not going to happen. I'm not saying they won't hit 380, I'm just saying that with the new SAE measurements, you rarely get a nice even number like that (ok, you have a 1-10 shot at it).
Lexus has said "around 380" - my guess is that will be somewhere between 372-388 when done with the final numbers and yes, I bet the GS will have slightly more - but not an even 10 no matter what due to the new calcs. Just a guess - like every other calc on here!

Just read about the new 2007 Camry V6 with 268 horse power. That's quite a lot more horses than the current GS300! Sounds totally insane. I think this is a strong indicator that the current GS300 really won't be around for too long before it get replaced by GS350. Toyota shouldn't let the Camry out sprint the GS.
And I wonder if the ES330 will eventually get dropped the same 3.5L or better engine.

With that in mind, what kind of hp would the GS350 have - same as the IS350 or a few more

p.s. Lexus versions of 3.5 GR w/o DI (ES and RX) should have 280hp...

I wonder if the self parking will be exclusive to the LS460 . . .& what about the 8 speed tranny ?
I remember the Mercedes 7 speed is introduced exclusively in the S class, CL & SL class first & the lower models at least a year later.
