Default My Christmas Present...a new GS300

GS300 AWD, fully loaded. My fob was hanging on the tree on Christmas day with the car (Glacier Frost) with a big red bow sitting in the driveway. Think back to all the Lexus commercials you have seen since the holidays. Anyway, I put alot of highway miles on my car and I cannot seem to find a nose mask. Is there such an animal? If not, what other options do I have?

Wow someone must have been VERY nice in 2005!!! Congrats on the new vehicle, as for the front end protection I would look into clearbra, or other clear film alternatives, IMO "bras" are so 1989! lol

Congratulations and welcome to CL. What a great Christmas gift...going to be tough to top next year!

Regarding the front end mask, definitely consider a clear bra instead. I used the factory mask for a short while on my last GS. What a pain to take on and off...and to keep clean. And it looked ugly. On a light color like glacier frost, a clear bra should hardly be noticable.

Enjoy the GS

Default My Wife got one too

I picked up our GS300 on Thursday. Matador Red w/ Black interior. Chrome Wheels & Nav. Then ran over to Aeroshield and had a clearbra put on. Francisco is quite an artist. I finally let my wife drive it today....... But it's only 2 miles to work

Is this a picture with the clear bra installed. I talked to a couple of people at work and they said that on a white car, the clear bra has a yellow tint. I got an estimate today $1100 for my GS and $995 for my husbands 350Z. He was offering a multi-car discount of 15%. Will look around, but will probably get it done soon. I love the color of your car. I have the light grey interior (not my choice). My husband choose all the options in the car.

I have a Clear Bra on my Silver RX too. They are there , but you really don't notice them. I just paid under $600 for the ClearBra. YOu might check around on the $1100 price. If you'd like more pictures let me know . E mail me @ GrdnRxR@aol.com

Default me too

My wife also got me a GS but a 430. She ordered it in September without me knowing but it came in early, mid-November so it was in the garage and I was not allowed to drive it or even sit in it until Chrismas morning. She got me the Mercury Metallic, fully loaded. Gotta love her! What an awesome gift to replace my 92 LS400.

I am so disgust by it now.... how come my wife did not get me a new GS!!!! or even a LS....

Well, I had clear bra on a white SC and yes sometimes it does look a bit yellow when it is dirty. Other than that, it is absolutely a must have item if you are on the freeway a lot. The price you quoted, however, is way too much. Both my GS and SC had under go some custom clear bra job due to the body kit but we paid much less than that. Shop around~~

BTW, congrat on the new car!!!!!!
